Iranian actress Pegah Ahangarani joins her first stage play titled 'Instructions'.

Iranian actress Pegah Ahangarani has joined her first stage play titled 'Instructions'.

The play's director, Farhad Fozouni, recently announced the cooperation on his social media page.

He also pointed out that the play will be staged this spring in April and May.

Born in 1984, Ahangarani was born in a family of artists and made her cinematic debut at the age of six with the movie ‘The Singing Cat’ in 1990.

She became a well-known actress after her performance in ‘The Girl in the Sneakers’ and received many awards, including the Prize for Best Actress at the Cairo International Film Festival.

She was also nominated for the prize of the Best Supporting Actress from the 27th Fajr International Film Festival for her performance in ‘Homeland’ in 2008.

Ahangarani has also directed some documentaries including ‘Theater’ in 2005 for which she won the Special Jury Prize from Isfahan Short Film Festival.

She has appeared in movies such as ‘Women's Prison’, ‘Maxx’, ‘Winter Dreams’, ‘Maritime Silk Road’, ‘No Men Allowed’, ‘Trapped’, and ‘Breathless’.

Pegah is the daughter of Iranian directors Manijeh Hekmat and Jamshid Ahangarani. She also plays Cello.
